Well told supplementary tales
If you’ve read all 5 of the Ile-Rien books you’ll enjoy these stories, which are beautifully written and well narrated

Enjoyable as a stand alone or with the series
This was a really enjoyable and quick read. It was a lot of fun to revisit my favourite characters from Ile-Rien and Cineth again. I think that the stories give some great backstory to their characters and expand the already rich world that they exist in.
The narration for the audio book was very smooth and easy to listen too.

Recommended
Books by Martha Wells were recommended by Mal Warwick weekly emails. He has some wonderful recommendations for books of all genres and from authors of yesteryear of whom Martha Wells is one.
These are excellently written, vivid in detail and simply hauntingly creepy enough to slightly disturb. Very much enjoyed listening to this free book and to listening to the other free books of hers on Audible. Highly suggest any who enjoy fantasy with a bit of horror give these a go. I also thank the narrator who does an excellent job of making these books come alive.
