About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
Eve should never have married Don Hathaway. Yes, he gave her two beautiful children - Olly and Tabitha - but he is a bully.
Worse than that, he hurts her.
But, after one drunken rage too many, she has the courage to leave him. Eve is warned that it's a difficult path, yet she needs to give her children hope for the future.
Don, however, is bitter. And getting away entirely from him proves impossible.
Until the day, Eve tries to teach him a lesson - and it all goes horribly wrong.
Eve loves her children but now she carries a terrible burden that she dares not share. Has she betrayed her and her children's futures?
Betrayal is Lesley Pearse's brilliant thriller.

Good but long winded
Enjoyed reading but it dragged on too long. Reasonably narrated. Story and ending was good

not my favourite of hers
I'm a huge fan of lesley pearse I've read/listened to every story and anxiously await her next release. This is by far my least favourite. I didn't feel a connection to the main character and didn't care what happened to her the story was not interesting and very predictable. It was a disappointing listen in comparison to her other books.

Underwhelming
My first book by Lesley Pearce, and am unlikely to read more. Very predictable and I found it hard to care about the characters. They were quite stereotypical. If it hadn’t been a Bookclub selection, I wouldn’t have stuck with it.
