About this listen
History is important to the understanding of life; it is hoped the reader will enjoy this study of a long-time family, their love for country, and accepting failure and defeat with victory.
John-Jehu was said to be a successful businessman, early 1800s, and, since he was fluent in the Cherokee language, he had been in the employ of the Judge Advocate for the Cherokee before 1830.
This really lines up with all we have learned of his life, and we hail him as a fine American, a patriot, with all the values that made this a great nation, that is, a voice for the weak, a love of justice, and human progress.
