Critic Reviews

"Buck Brannaman is a remarkable person. Remarkable in that he can communicate on a variety of levels - with people as well as horses - all with one desire, to help free the spirit in everyone involved." (Jill Rappaport, Entertainment correspondent on Today Show)

Fantastic personal accounts.

Another inspiring read by Buck. His philosophy/insights interdispersed with personal accounts from others, made for an aspirational read. Recommended for anyone following these principles of 'natural horsemanship'.

Great book!

I loved the stories in this book, however the female narrators voice was a touch irritating, her voice was almost condescending. Otherwise excellent book.

real life stories

this has been great for my own personal journey with my horses, I don't feel so alone or pressured to get it right with my horses, it's a journey!

Wonderful stories, poor narration

I loved the content and the stories. The parts read by Buck are fantastic. I found the female voice for the other stories a bit insipid - these are stories of great and good people but they do not sound like that with this voice.
