About this listen
Flight paramedic Rhys Foster is hooked on adrenaline. By day it's blood and guts, by night it's the thrill of the club. With a different face in his bed most nights, he doesn't have time to be lonely...right?
Entertainer Jevon Campbell is a play therapist like no other - dancer, magician, acrobat, he brings it all to his global mission to help children in need laugh again. He's on a rare home visit when he encounters enigmatic Rhys in a London bar.
Their connection is instant, but Rhys fast realises Jevon's easy confidence doesn't stretch as far as the bedroom. He has no idea how mesmerizing he is - how beautiful - and Rhys resolves to show him.
They grow closer, but time isn't on their side. Rhys seems unable to articulate how he feels, and with Jevon's imminent departure from the U.K. hanging over them, their separate commitments could tear them apart forever.
As the days slip by, Rhys must learn to believe he's worth the happiness Jevon is offering.
Contains mature themes.

Men doing selfless jobs need love too!
Flight paramedic Rhys Foster has spent many nights at Lovato’s in the arms of couple Angelo and Dylan, but lately the NSA sex has just left him empty. A chance encounter in a bar has him inviting play therapist Jevon Campbell back to his place and both men feel an instant connection. Jevon has only ever been with women but his night with Rhys confirms he’s gay, however, their heartbreaking jobs confine the men to occasional but meaningful hookups. Jevon must overcome his lack of experience in all things gay while Rhys struggles with the long distances—luckily they both believe the other is worth it.
This gay-awakening romance was set against a backdrop of medical emergencies, refugee camps, and traumatised kids and Garrett Leigh handles these sensitively but not depressingly. It makes you appreciate both men who have tough jobs and yet they’d never want to do anything else. Both men struggled with self-esteem issues but were bolstered by the other and that gave the story a positive trajectory. Also some nice cameos from previous books in this Garrett Leigh series and others. 🎧 UK voice actor Shaun Grindell handled the accents well, especially the Jamaican ones. His reading rhythm is noticeable at times but you adjust.

Believe in Love
Another five star hit for me, the stories Garrett Leigh writes are real, he brings character’s to life with his stories of every day happenings, with relevant true life situations.
Again Shaun Grindell the narrator hits the mark. He brings the story together with his telling.
Well done
