About this listen

We all get let down from time to time. Sometimes it is inevitable because of circumstances; other times it is because it is a deliberate action. Either way it is not very nice, although it is even worse when someone lets you down for purely selfish reasons. How we react other than being disappointed is literally down to us.

Our thoughts and feelings come from the selfsame place; happiness and sadness come from the same brain. We need to respect ourselves and seek only the positive areas of life. Dwelling on being let down will only hurt you more than necessary. Feeling and internalising pain as a means of self-justification is stupidity to the nth degree. You need at all times, regardless of events, to seek the positive side of life no mastter how hard it may be.

There are no statements such as "If you knew what I have been through" that have any justification or require sympathy.
