Inspirational read.
Pollyannas story deeply touched me and inspired me to go for Gold in my life..to rise above any limitations I may be holding within myself..
I love that she conveys the pain body as being something more than just an accident that happenned to her...it is a lifetime of experiences that contribute to the healing of our whole body..

Brilliantly written and read.
This was the perfect tonic for me to listen to whilst feeling a bit sorry for myself. It gave me just the push I needed to get up and get on with it. The author has such a wonderful way of describing her pain and she gives just enough reference to her past without dwelling too long or laying unhealthy blame. A great big lesson on taking responsibility for our own healing and getting “Buff” both emotionally and physically.

insightful and inspiring
This little book was a delight to listen to. Pollyanna's triumph from massive pain and stuck in bed to facing her demons and passionately stepping up and creating a new body is really inspiring. I listened 3 times as I wanted to get every nugget of wisdom from her transformation. Thanks Pollyanna for sharing the snippets of painful experiences from the past which were so moving. They helped me reflect on how I also compromised myself to please other people, and how I yearn to fully step up and shed the limiting patterns. If you want to be inspired to transform your life from limits to limitlessness, this one is for you.

The author has such a wonderful turn of phrase.
The story captured me from the start. I loved the jumping around from present day to memory written in the child’s voice.
Such an extraordinary writer, so beautifully descriptive and has you right there beside her.
I do hope this book will speak to those who have chronic pain (don’t we all in some way?)

Inspiring softness and strength
There's something so incredibly down to earth and genuine in how Pollyanna shares her story of pain. It inspires in me a softness and tenderness to embrace what is while also a spirit to not give up, to reach for what brings me happiness.
I loved hearing the authors voice reading her work and her portrayal of her younger self in the chapters reflecting on childhood. Took me right there with her.
