Honest and inspiring
A beautifully written, honest, and inspiring story, with a great narration by Michelle Obama herself. So many parts of the book continue to resonate with me.

Excellent
I really enjoyed this book. Michelle Obama is both fascinating and inspiring but in a very real, no nonsense way. As an Australian, I know very little about American politics and generally perceive Americans to be selfish, rude, ignorant and arrogant, I was surprised by her humbleness, caring and intelligence. A remarkable story, written and read by a remarkable woman.

Message of optimism.
As the author says towards the end, it is the story of an ordinary person who got a chance to embark on an extraordinary trajectory. Her story is truly inspirational,especially to younger generations of Americans.
The presentation is bold yet sober, her voice surely provides the required authenticity. Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Dhruba Adhikary ( Nepal )

Loved your story
Being Australian I don’t follow American politics all that much. But I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. It was quite interesting learning about Michelle and her life before Obama and her time as First Lady.

Inspiring and moving.
I loved it. just sad that the American system block there being a female president to follow. I had tears hearing Michelle Obama talk if the election results. Thankyou for sharing you life story.

Compassionate, inspiring and eye-opening
I actually listened to Barack Obama's audiobook "A Promised Land" first which was highly detailed in terms of policy and decision making. Michelle's audiobook was inspiring to say the least, talking about her values and what drives her every day. I didn't know much about her before but my respect for her has increased exponentially after listening to her unique story.
