Publisher's Summary
There are two kinds of women in the world - those I can bang, and those I can’t.
My teammate’s sister?
She’s a can’t.
I moved in with her to protect her from a nasty ex, not to be the next guy in line.
She’s the brains.
I’m the brawn.
She’s the fruit.
I’m the sausage.
She talks too much.
I don’t talk at all, if I don’t have to.
Should be easy to resist her.
But every minute I spend with Felicity is another minute she gets under my skin. She makes me feel like something more than a dumb puckhead with a big Zamboni pony. And it’s getting harder to remember why I need to keep my hands to myself.
Beauty and the Beefcake is a vegan-friendly standalone romantic comedy featuring a hockey player whose vocabulary is the only thing smaller than a hockey puck, a book smart but aimless ventriloquist with too many voices in her head, a dilapidated old house that may or may not be haunted, and no cheating or cliffhangers.

Hooked, brilliant hockey romance
Words cannot describe how much I love Ares and Felicity. Ares is everything you could want in a hero and more. Felicity would be so cool to know. Pippa's writing has classic comedic timing. And both the narrators are perfect for the parts. I loved this story when I first read it. Love it more being my first Audio book.

excellent narrations
I usually stick to paranormal romance novels but all my current are emotionally heavily and I just needed something light and easy and this was this first I saw and honestly, I was not let down it was sooo funny and love the big gentle giant who doesn't talk. Only reason it's not 5 stars is I didn't quite get the whole hockey obsession or constant ventriloquism but still a great book.

FANTASTIC
I loved listening to this audiobook. The romance in this book is such a feel good one that leaves you feeling amazing. This story is about two abnormal people finding each other and showing that you don't have to be normal to be happy. This has two awesome narrators who fit the characters perfectly and in a way I definitely wouldn't have been able to. Listening to this was definitely amazing and was just another of those books from Pippa Grant that was amazing. Pippa Grant is definitely one of my favorite authors and this book is definitely a great example why. If you loved the blurb or the sample and think you will like it, I would definitely recommend this book to you. Enjoy!

Great story
I really liked the story, it was sweet and funny, Narrators were great, especially Wen Ross as Aries, although duet narration would have made it better. I only gave it 2 stars because of the ventriloquism. I get that it was an important part of the story however when the character constantly changes voices it got annoying and was no longer funny. I think if I read the story instead it wouldn’t have been an issue, but grated as an audio version.
