Got me hooked but rubbish ending
Wicker Man springs to mind…. Not the same but reminded me. Narrator fabulous as usual

Excellent story and performances
This one had me by the neck from the first chapter. Fabulous mixture of thrills, horror, emotion, and even a few laughs. I want to live on the island, please. Sequel?

Brilliant
Another excellent book by Alice Feeney. Twisty and thrilling. Read this - you won't be disappointed. And get all her books, equally great.

Not bad
I wasn't sure I was liking the story so I got online to see what others thought. I found out what the twist was by accident, however knowing the twist beforehand made the story/plot much more enjoyable. so if you're struggling with it, I reccomend spoiling yourself.
Richard Armitage and Tuppence Middleton were perfection.

Wasn’t too ugly
Fast paced and really kept me entertained , glad I went with the audible version or I may have found it less enjoyable, pretty tame for a thriller

Wow - ending with a difference
Always enjoy Richard Armitage narrations. Story was quite different, a little confusing at times, and the ending, most unexpected.

I rolled my eyes too many times
I sighed, eye rolled and scoffed so many times during this. Several times I nearly just gave in.
It’s fine to listen to but the story is rather far fetched.

The narration was A1 along with the accents and subtle background sounds
Final act leaves perhaps a little up to interpretation which could also be seen as a good thing. I’ll definitely be doing some deep diving into it to get some further clarity between what was and wasn’t the protagonists’s own imagination / reality

I finished this audiobook in 3 days, I legitimately couldn’t stop listening.
I loved everything about this book and desperately want to visit this island in Scotland, Alice describes it so well on her writing.
