Publisher's Summary
His family killed my brother, so I stole his bride....
I was there to murder her father, but then I saw her walking down the aisle.
She’s been my secret obsession for too long. The sinfully beautiful Calabresi princess.
Sloan was the perfect payment for their crimes.
Now she’s mine.
Mine to claim.
Mine to possess.
Mine to destroy.
Her fiancé is still hunting for us, but his bride might not be so innocent by the time he tracks her down.
I’m lining her family up like dominoes. And she’ll be the first to fall.
Unless I fall prey to temptation and decide to keep her for myself.
Rocco and Sloan’s story is a stand-alone enemies-to-lovers dark romance with a HEA and no cliff-hanger. It contains heat, passion and explosive steamy scenes for listeners who enjoy mature content.

Loved it!
I feel like this was the perfect mix of sweet & dark. Rocco was intense and sometimes gave proper psycho vibes. Sloan was an absolute badass! I love a strong heroine and she did not disappoint. She fought hard for her freedom in more ways then one the entire book.
My only complaint is that I found Rocco’s POV contradictory to the things he said to Sloan in her POV. Some things he said just didn’t add up to his actions and I’m still trying to figure out if he really meant everything he said to her or was it part of the bet? Maybe I’m overthinking it though. The book is read from 3 POV’s as we hear several times from Nikolai but I wouldn’t call it a love triangle at all.
Over all I really enjoyed this book and absolutely loved the ending. A swoon worthy happily ever after for sure!

POV from more than just the FMC and MMC
This book was written in a way I have read before. Having the POV of the FMC and MMC is usual, but then having another POV made it very intriguing.
I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Rocco and Sloane. It was great to get insight into Nikoli as well.
It was an interesting storyline that kept me turning pages and led me straight onto the second book in this series eagerly.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good audio.

Romanticise Stockholm Syndrome
it was okay, but guys being a holes to women must be the Author's kink.
if you've been abused probably not a good idea to read this, I couldn't get into the romanticising Stockholm syndrome.
