Publisher's Summary
To win a frightened heart, you have to bare your own.
Any woman would be eager to be Ryan Williams's mate. Any woman but Glory Walsh. The sexy bear shifter is beautiful, strong and persistent; she'll give him that. But Glory's past taught her one simple truth: people leave. She can't get past the fact he left her once before. Okay, so he had a good reason, and he did come back. Try convincing her emotions. When Glory finally agrees to a date, Ryan feels like shouting hallelujah. He only left his mate to hunt down the man who'd shot her, but convincing the stubborn woman she has a permanent place at his side is tougher than he thought. Their date takes a turn for the bizarre when Glory thanks Ryan for the series of romantic gifts - gifts Ryan never sent. It seems her past is coming back to bite her, and before it has a chance to sink its teeth in and tear her out of his life, Ryan will have to bare it all, right down to his soul, to protect the woman he loves. Even from herself.
Warning: This title contains explicit sex, graphic language, a blue-haired heroine, and a hero who isn't afraid to get all kinds of naked.

My least favourite book in this series.
My least favourite book in this series.
Really believe Ryan deserves better in a mate.
Glory’s emotional cowardice is even more annoying in audible.
Poor Ryan has been in limbo with getting close to Glory for nearly a year now, all due to Glory being a stubborn, stupid idiot, she really causes a lot of problems.
Once again the author uses the exact same idea as in book two of Halle Pumas. She has the heroine getting presents, from someone whom she believes is her would be mate. Glory never says thank you for the gifts and flowers, even though they have been coming for weeks. So we get the usual problem happening when it is finally discussed.
At least this time it is a stalker rather than a crazy jealous woman.
Though not as full of the background problems as book two, we do get more happening in another direction which is all intertwined.
So it is extremely annoying that this series has been left hanging for so long with no additional books to finish/explain the riddle. Two becomes One, One becomes Three, Wolf knows the way but Fox holds the key.
BOOK REVIEW
I was not sure that Glory could be saved as I disliked her at the end of the last book.
After reading her story I can understand what she believed and why it caused her actions but she needed to grow up and didn’t need to be so mean to Ryan.
Unfortunately, Ryan did the one thing guaranteed to hurt Glory but he works damn hard to apologise and absolve his behaviour.
Ryans leaving was understandable as he did not know Glory’s past at that time, if he had known he would never have left her side.
This series is really getting intense and we are no nearer to finding out what is going on and why the senate is involved.
Whilst I am enjoying the direction this series is going I miss the humour and energy the Halle Puma books had. They made me laugh out loud and feel good when I had finished them.
What is the mystery that must be unravelled to save all shifters? Answers are needed to keep my interest, not more questions with every book.
