Publisher's Summary
“Cross one, cross all.” That’s the Brayshaw way.
She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury. She didn’t, and now the target is on her back.
The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out. Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers.
I resisted, fought against us. I caved. I tasted what became my newfound favorite flavor and fell hard for the little liar.
But then the depth of her treachery reveals itself, and with it a reminder.
Our town is a twisted place, and with truth comes trouble.
In the blink of an eye, my world is split at its core, and I’m faced with an impossible decision, one that leads to a single outcome: betrayal.
This is Captain Brayshaw's book and the fourth book in the Brayshaw series.

Eskimo Kisses and Butterfly Hugs!
It took me a while to get into this book... and wasn’t too sure whether I liked it at one point in the storyline, especially when Captain had a 180 degree personality change and was a total a$$ to Victoria, but fortunately he managed to redeem himself towards the end of the book.
“I’m the wave, he’s the anchor and this life is our ocean” ~ Victoria
Victoria was such an amazing character. She was strong and resilient, and took everything Captain threw at her and more!! ... and when he was at his worst, she managed to hold her head up high and refused to give in and walk away. Her unwavering love for Captain and his daughter Zoe, and her loyalty towards the Brayshaw family made her the a true hero in my books.
The other Brayshaws played an integral part in this book too, always ensuring their women are kept safe and happy, which isn’t always an easy task. I absolutely loved the way the guys interacted with Zoe and bent over backwards to make sure she was happy, and Zoe or ZoZo as they boys loved to call her, was an absolute gem. I totally loved her little personality. She was cuteness overload and had all the Brayshaw men wrapped around her tiny little fingers. I also loved that Raven was pregnant in this book and we got to experienced all the craziness and emotions associated with that. I’m so looking forward to her seeing what she has in the next book.
The story is beautiful written and narrated, with dual POV’s and loads of twists and turns to keep you guessing, and even though it got a bit confusing at times, all the pieces fell beautifully together and made total sense in the end.
I’m soooo looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Bring on Ponyboy Royce’s story!
