About this listen
Chad Stone’s life hasn’t gone the way he’d hoped over the past year. He was laid off and forced to live with his parents in their basement. He dove headfirst into a popular MMORPG and built a crafting empire that made him one of the richest players in the game. However, FFO gamers worldwide began mysteriously vanishing while playing the game, and no one has a clue what happened to them or where they are.
Chad soon finds out firsthand when he is sucked into another world while playing the game. He wakes up to find a purple kangaroo named Fozzy standing over him. Chad learns that he is stuck in this new world and that there’s no going back. When Chad pulls a lever on a celestial slot machine he finds out that he is an S-ranked barbarian. Fozzy tells him that he can go anywhere and do anything with his immense power. The kicker is that Chad could care less about being strong and extremely overpowered. The local townsfolk keep badgering him for help, but the man just wants to open a restaurant on the beach with some monster girls.

It's ok but could've been more
Had to skip the last couple of chapters cause I got bored and annoyed with the fox girl and how stupid things got. Main Mc is ok would liked a bit more of a character development or more slice of life but the story didn't know if it wanted adventure or slice of life and cut the experiences short on both to switch it back to the other. The side characters are ok but would liked a bit more time with cat girl and cow girl rather then clingy bitchy fox girl that's one moment a fighter and the next a run and hide or go fight them Mc to no you must protect yourself against these weak opponents. eh I just couldn't get the flow of the story and got annoyed near the end. MC on easy mode but dosn't know how to put his strength to use with his kitchen skills in unique ways. Jessica dose a Fantastic job as always and why I got this book. 3.5 star for story 5 star for performance.
