Great story

I really liked the story. It was an enjoyable version of the heroes/heroines story.
I didn’t enjoy the narrator; the characters were all too stilted.

Surprise find turns out to be a gem

This series has turn into one of my regular listens, Narrated by James Cronin. James does a great job keeping you captivated with Nathan Hystads journey.
The series turned out to have great story progression and characters developing. The world building is not set at an extreme speed which I expected and while the prologues seem random before the books being they add a nice side perspective.

I definitely recommend this for anyone into science fiction based with space travel, or anyone from a sword and sorcery fan base that would like to branch more into a military space future.

So good Star Trek vibes great character development

Action and Space Adventure

I became very invested in the characters and found all the different space races to be very believable. I highly recommend this series to all who enjoy science fiction adventures.

interesting ideas

was a pleasant enough read a couple of laughs here and there I did like the ideas behind the tech used in the story. A good narrator, Yes I'd recommend it.

good story

enjoyed the story but the narrator was very flat. the characters were lifeless.
would like to us get into assisted mobility now. we are taking baby steps in that direction.

A rather boring space opera.

I have to admit, I like a good space opera however this was not one of them. I found this rather too simple and predictable, with huge plot holes. I got sucked in by the 52 hours of audio book -- but this was a mistake. I could not get past half way through book 2. I have had enough and will ask for my credit back.
