About this listen

The nine-foot, smoldering, muscular creature looked human, with claws for fingers and toes. It sparked the ethers, and a 12-foot-long, smoldering trident coalesced in its right hand. The creature focused blazing, yellow-red eyes on Marissa and grinned as yellow-red flames spewed from its mouth.

It lifted its trident and crashed the hilt three times into the earth. An earthquake followed each crash, and each earthquake was more violent than the previous one. On the third crash, the earth ruptured and fissured toward Marissa; but the fissure forked past her as if it was forced by an unseen force.

Marissa sparked the ethers. A golden sword and shield formed in her left and right hands respectively. Sarael took battle stance as a golden armor formed over her body. A golden hairband held her long, black hair in a tight bun. Green flames flared from her eyes and mouth.

“Today you fall, Beast!” Sarael, also known as Marissa, promised and lunged toward The Beast.
