There are 47 separate HOA violations, and I feel them all in my bones. Honestly, I’m surprised no one’s “accidentally” torched the house yet. I want to, and I’ve only been standing in front of it for five minutes. But then, my grumpy neighbor tells me to mow the lawn first and I’m just...done. Done with men too sexy for their own good and done with anyone telling me what to do.
First rule of surviving the burbs? There is nothing that YouTube and a glass of wine can’t conquer. Well, unless it’s your hot neighbor.

unexpectedly good
I really enjoyed this book. Easy to listen to and the characters are likeable although i got frustrated at the main character when she kept mucking up her life 😂
overall, it's a good listen.

3.5 star listen
I appreciated this book, very interesting and real. I bought into this relationship and secondary characters loved also. I found myself giggling at times and also understanding why certain events happen. I liked the narration and felt like this was written quite well.
Worth the listen I also believe this is free through kindle unlimited read and listen

Terrible ending.
That was a struggle to get to the end. I hate not giving books a chance so I listened to the whole thing but shit. The narrator wasn't terrible, but the choice of narrator was. Sounded like I was listening to a teenage boy which made the middle aged woman whinge sound worse... I'm not sure if the length of the story is a good or bad thing. I had to keep rewinding because my brain kept switching off.

a few twists more than what one would expect
I loved the character development. They were nice twists and the story that were engaging. however, I'm a bit depressed that the protagonist couldn't explore all the different figures and it became predictable. another woman falling for the one guy. Explore a few other guys first, Maybe simultaneously. this is about exploration of character.

Really enjoyed this book from start to finish
This was a really good light read, I enjoyed it from start to finish. Unlike some books that seem to end abruptly with little detail, this book told a complete story (always good to have an epilogue). Enjoyable story with a laugh every now and then, not sure I wanted it to end..

So funny
It was truly so funny especially how Sophie narrated the story. I have never laughed so much while listening to a story before. It was truly and itterly enjoyable read.

A fun read
I really enjoyed this book. Filled with romance and humour as a RomCom should be.
I’m no expert but, in my opinion, the narrator was excellent and made me feel like I was in New Jersey.

Fine to pass the time
There was a little too much introspection and internal monologue and I found myself skipping 30 seconds at a time to get to the actual storyline.
Was enough to pass the time in the car.
