If you are looking for a different sort of storyline, this book is definitely for you!!!! It is amazing and everyone in the entire world will love it. It is super gripping, but I do miss Holliday’s accent.

The worst thing about this book is I can't read it for the first time again. Storyline is so compelling - from the first chapter to the little connections made to previous books. Everything was superb. I do wish there was more about learning to be a wundersmith, and oddly I found the changed accent of holliday wu a little off putting initially. But definitely as good as Hollowpox - if not better! Now to go back and listen again

My one criticism is that the pacing was a little uneven. I think there could have been some tightening in the middle of the book. However I think this is a wonderful series and it was brilliant to return to the world Jessica has so clearly lovingly created.
