About this listen

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him and his mother) was a devoted companion of the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One day, suffering from intense hunger, he lay on the ground, tying a stone to his belly. Despite attempts to seek help from Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), it was only the Prophet who recognized his need. Inviting him to his home, the Prophet shared a bowl of milk, inviting the less fortunate people of Suffah to drink first. In a miraculous display of generosity, the milk never ran out until everyone was satisfied, teaching Abu Hurayrah the beauty of selflessness and community.

This story is authentic, told to us by the most noble of the messengers, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and was collected by Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) in his Sahih.
