    回顧台灣隊的表現，11月21日以0比2不敵委內瑞拉，但隨後以8比2大勝美國，為晉級奠定基礎。日本隊則以2勝0敗穩居榜首，美國與委內瑞拉最終都以1勝2敗收場。根據對戰優質率（TQB）的計算，即使11月23日晚場台灣不敵日本，仍憑藉優勢確保決賽門票。

    台灣棒球隊過去在國際賽的歷史並不順遂。首屆2015年世界12強僅拿第9名，2019年雖闖進複賽但止步第5。經典賽至今未進過前4強，今年的12強賽，台灣終於突破層層挑戰，證明了自身實力。
