  • 2024世界棒球12強賽進入4強「超級循環賽」，台灣在11月21日於東京巨蛋首戰對上A組第二名委內瑞拉。先發投手黃子鵬表現穩定，主投4.2局送出2次三振，但因挨了一發2分全壘打讓對手先馳得點。同時，隊長陳傑憲單場敲出3支安打，卻無法帶動全隊攻勢。尤其在第五局一出局滿壘的黃金機會中未能得分，最終以0比2飲恨吞敗。

    台灣隊以預賽3勝1敗挺進4強，首戰失利後，下一場比賽顯得至關重要。11月22日上午11點，中華隊將迎戰美國，力求扳回一城。

    12強賽採分組單循環賽制，A組包括美國、委內瑞拉等6隊，B組則有日本、台灣等強權。以上四隊是各組前兩名晉級4強名單，赴東京巨蛋進行超級循環賽，最終勝出的兩隊將爭奪冠軍。
