  • Rio Hondo Prep (9-1) will travel back to Riverside in consecutive weeks to take on King High School (8-3) for the 2nd Round of the CIF-SS Division 7 Playoffs. Both the Kares and the Wolves are coming off of 1st Round upset wins on the road in which both defenses not only shutout their opponents but also caused a plethora of turnovers. Rio Hondo is on the road for their 6th straight Postseason game and are relishing the opportunity to reach the Semifinals in the highest division they've ever competed in. Tim Lunney is our guest this week who is not only a teacher at Rio but also gives of his time on game days to capture all kinds of great photographs of RHP Football. Tim's father was the late great Defensive Coordinator Gary Lunney who we all loved dearly for his humorous yet intense approach to coaching up the Kares.
