This is an amazing book! Great twists, great story keeps you Interested the whole way through, couldn’t put it down!!

unexpected joy to read
This was such a surprise and I could not put it down. I got a taste of this world and it has left me wanting more adventures. the narrations was well suited to the book and sexy as he'll. i' ll be rereading this one and it's in my go to list.

Probably the best audiobook Ive ever listened to
I have re-listened to this about 4 times! Im in love with the characters and the story. I cant wait for Emily Noon to come back with more adventures for Evie and Aurora.
I avoided this book for a few months because its a fantasy romance which I thought I would find hard to invest into. Abby Craden is my favourite narrator so I was keeping this for a longish drive/holiday by the pool to give it a good chance.
From the moment I started listening I was completely hooked on the story. Its 20 hours long, but you dont even feel the time pass because Emily Noon fills every moment of it with rich and vibrant descriptions of her world, Nordarra.
The romance is a slow burn with Evie a feisty, independent and intelligent woman slowly falling deeply in love with Aurora. Aurora is a complicated shape shifter with a long, violent, traumatic history and threads carefully around most people. They must navigate the dangerous and complex magical world of Nordarra in order to get Evie home to her ill father.
There are so many facets to this book that I wont be able to cover in this review but do give it a chance if you're hesitating to committing to a fantasy romance thats over 20h long. You will not be able to stop listening!

An epic, cruel and sexy journey!!!
This is sooooo far out from what I have ever read, I’ve never read a fantasy book in my life. (I don’t know if Harry Potter counts as fantasy) But I was captivated and hooked from the first 5 minutes.
The characters are so in-depth and interesting, and their journey kept me hooked in from start to finish.
It’s got everything from dark sinister themes to tender moments that touched my heart.

Best fantasy novel on audible
Emily Noon creates an amazing universe combining magic and shape shifters. In this epic adventure you meet lesbian protagonists Evie and Aurora, who have sizzling chemistry. Genuinely a very well written novel, with complex and interesting characters, and at 20 hours it is also great value. It has some violence but it is not gratuitous. I can’t recommend this book enough and now need to go find what else Emily Noon has written. Adult fiction not YA.

What a beautifully written story.
And boy did it get hot. I'm still flustered!
The narrator made the characters come to life.

I loved this!
This had the very best of all those little books that try so hard but so often fall short. The reader being paced along with equal strides of romance, slow burn lust, adventure and action, droplets throughout of humor and fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed this by Emily Noon, and now am on the hunt for something new, though, i think the quality rare.

Why didn’t I listen to this sooner?
This one has been on my list for a while now. Really wish I had listen to this sooner! Abby Craden always perfection. My first Emily Noon book. As soon as I finish typing this I’m off to find some more from this author.
