Editorial reviews

Travel Radio International audiojournalist Patricia Lawrence visits the Hubbel Trading Post. John Lorenzo Hubbell established the post in 1878 (it has been a National Park since 1967) and it continues to serve members of the Navajo, Hopi, Zuni and other tribes as the oldest business in northern Arizona, as well as the oldest continuously operated trading post on the Navajo Reservation. A national park service guide discusses the Post’s operations, the acquisition of its western and Native American art collections, as well as site features, including the original 160-acre Hubbell family homestead, barn, bunkhouse, guest hogan, farm equipment, and farm animals.
