About this listen
The answer to why people feel and act the way they do lies in the profound effect of a child's bonding process with his or her parents. How successfully we form and maintain relationships throughout life is related to those early issues of "attachment". The author has cited four primary bonding styles that explain why people love, feel, and act the way they do.
This book is for anyone who desires closeness, especially in the most intimate relationships: marriage, parenting, close friends, and ultimately God.

Excellent content and well worth the read
Attachment styles are well explained and developed, especially with regard to understanding insecure or unhealthy attachments styles and how they function relationally. Unfortunately the narration style of the narrator is very poor, but if ones plays the book at 1.3 times speed the narration becomes almost normal and easy to listen to. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to better understand themselves and others in relation to their relationship challenges.

May as well read the bible
So many religious references! What on earth does that have to do with attachment theory?
No need for it here. AT ALL.
