great world, lovable characters, unpredictable plot
great voice acting - love Mr Miller!
well thought out story
cool powers and magic.
the only thing I wish that was readily available was a refedex as some of the terms are foreign / created and some are never explained such as what his loyal pet is. is it a dog? and what about his mount? is it a horse?

Could YA novel if a bit long.
It was a fun read. Some of the coincidences and choices were a bit unjustified and the book could have been a lot tighter if it was a few hours shorter. Definitely worth the read. having no sex, no extreme violence and no bad language means is suitable for most ages.

Loved the story and the way magic works in particular
Loved the story and the way magic works in particular, it was genuinely interesting. The mystery of the main characters origin was also very engaging and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Absolutely epic read.
Storyline was epic. Once you start listening you don't wanna stop. Can't recommend this enough. Can't wait for book 3.
