About this listen

Let's be real: customer service sucks. Being sandwiched between needy customers and incompetent leadership at a greedy corporation sets an impossible expectation. It's Tony's job to "reset the customer experience" with no tools other than his customer-oriented attitude and expression of the company's hip and trendy culture.

Ha ha. Right.

Meanwhile, Tony knows his wife might not make it through this pregnancy. She's on bedrest due to a mass in the womb, and odds are it's cancerous. Every payday when bills outweigh their income, he's forced to choose between packing in hours at Pizza Corp, or spending what could be the last few months with his wife....

And that's where he finds himself, staring into the customers' eyes, one after another, watching them complain about a five-minute delay on a pizza, and Tony has to stop and wonder...is any of this worth it?
