Good ideas, jarring execution.
There were some interesting ideas, e.g a young wheelchair bound female mech suit user, the conspiracy behind her parents. Internal logic errors and mistakes in the science made it a jarring experience.
At first it seemed like the social aspects were well written, but then the MC falls almost immediately for the hunky guy... That's the opposite of what she was supposedly wanting, and there was little to no progression to explain the 180° change of mind.
If the book were sooner at children as the audible category suggests, the incomplete writing could be excused. However the obvious allusions to sex suggest the author wasn't writing for children.
