About this listen

New enemies. Reluctant allies. A world on fire.

Jason has barely had a chance to catch his breath since Westley's interview and the break-in at Cerillion Entertainment headquarters. And yet the world keeps spinning....

A new threat has emerged, but this one is coming from inside Awaken Online. An unknown guild has somehow managed to threaten the game world. Yet, unlike Jason's former battles, his enemies are unclear—hidden in the shadows and hiring others to do their dirty work, including the infamous Death and Taxes. Without a clear enemy or way to stop this threat, Jason is forced to do something he never thought he would...ask for help.

Perhaps the united might of the avatars may be enough to subdue this new threat. Assuming they can overcome their issues and learn to fight together, they may be able to save AO.

And if not...they'll have front row seats to the end of the world.

Epic

I love this whole book series. Another amazing installment but so many new players and unanswered questions in the end of the book. Look forward to more adventures. Very well woven from the other books in the series. A culmination of so many story arcs. Nicely narrated too great work to the whole team.

Well... that happened...

I've been a huge fan of awaken online ever since I stumbled across the first book close to its release and it just gets better and better. Without spoiling anything this one just makes me more excited than ever for the next books.

Fantastic job as always Travis! I buy all your physical books and even have some of the merch/t-shirts and this book just furthered my adoration of the series so I guess I'll be spending some more money! And gladly so!

um

storyline and narration brilliant as usual

BUT

wtf on the ending??? um now lost and confused especially the real world.
without adding spoilers
The avatars draw their mana powers from their wells and there can only be one avatar for each efinity correct??
so what now, is this the end or a major contradiction to the whole storyline??

Rather disappointing

the story was filled with irrelevant plot turns, the character development was gone, dialogue was terrible. And the voice acting was just awful with whiny annoying voices through out. also the attempt at humour really rang hollow... I was a fan, but I think this one lost me.

waste of time if you don't read the side stories

don't bother reading unless you have read the side stories....

it was a great series that'd been butchered through the author trying to maximise profits through rubbish side stories
