A New Standard in Horror Entertainment
Arcranium is a type of audiobook I’ve never experienced before.
From the moment it started, I was sucked into the lives of the characters. The quality is exceptional. The narrator and voice actors brought the characters to life but also evoked genuine emotion.
I was laughing, crying and even outright horrified in parts. I was expecting the effects and music to detract from the narration, but everything worked so well together. Some of the effects were truly visceral.
The four main characters, Mike, Yas, Alex and Noah, are horror writers in different genres, competing over who is the scariest writer. As such, each writer has their own distinct music which perfectly encapsulates their genre.
Each character has a distinct personality and the voice actors breathe life into them. Mike, for example, is the oldest of the four. He’s gruff, blunt and a bit of an a-hole. But I finished the story feeling genuine sorrow and heartfelt compassion for him.
The story itself is a roller-coaster. Seamlessly taking the listener from one horror genre to the next. Each one upping the horror stakes.
Arcranium is a masterclass in horror storytelling that sets a new standard for audiobooks. Do yourself a favour and listen to Arcranium.
One final note: Change your Audible app settings to download high quality files. The default setting downloads mono sound. Change it to high quality to get the full audio experience. Its chalk and cheese by comparison. You wont regret it.

A Treat for Horror Fans! Highly Recommended!
An audio book unlike anything you have heard before.
Arcranium is a full theatrical audio production, complete with narration, characters, effects and a complete soundtrack.
As the story progresses the audio production ramps up in horrific impact, delivering heart wrenching moments with gut punch impact. From moments of atmospheric tension, to straight up brutal and bloody gore.
