About this listen
How far would you go to protect your daughter?
From the first moment single mother Nicolette Winchester held her daughter in her arms, she knew she'd do everything in her power to keep her safe. Now 18 years old, Ella is bright, kind, and a cello prodigy headed for Juilliard. Nicolette can't help but feel proud of the young woman her daughter's become.
Then Ella calls home one night. There's been an accident. A classmate is dead. And Ella is the only one on the scene. To protect her daughter, Nicolette makes an unthinkable decision: hide the body, and ensure her daughter is kept out of the ensuing scandal.
There's only one problem. Someone knows what she did.
And that person is going to make sure Nicolette pays.
Contains mature themes.

Great story
The narrative was really good. Very easy to listen to. I did pick the ending though, possibly listening to too many thrillers!!

Anything For You
Highly recommended read if you love a slow psychological burn. All the characters were extremely well fleshed out and I empathized with those that deserved it, and had quite a strong dislike for those that didn’t. I always find that books that could make me “feel’ strongly towards characters are well written books. I sincerely hope that the author continues to write more books of this genre.
Narration is superb.

Quite repetitive and slow at times
There were plenty of times where the story was extremely repetitive and painfully slow at times.
Although the storyline was good, I wasn’t a fan that the lay out of the story was in somewhat letter form to the daughter…because of this, it kind of made the ending predicable from early on in the story.
Enjoyed it for the most part though. Glad it was available in the plus catalog rather than using a credit to listen.
