Simply lovely

I adore Anne and it was lovely to return to the island. This is such a heartwarming series and I continuously find myself smiling along at Anne's many scrapes. Definitely recommend.

Perfectly Lovely

The narrator is so perfect. I’m so sad to see she doesn’t continue the rest of the series. The second part of Anne’s story was so great and I’m excited to read more. Recommend!

Love the book, not a fan of the narrator

After listening to Rachel McAdams narrate Anne of Green Gables, I was excited to listen to the next book. However, I couldn't get past the first chapter. I found Mary Sarah overly animated and it was difficult to distinguish between characters as they sounded too similar. Will try my luck with other narrations but unfortunately it's a strong no from me for this one!

Choose another version

I couldn’t even finish the first chapter. The narrator speaks in a strange British accent that is not authentic to the Prince Edward Islanders at all. She also speaks so disjointedly and with strange pace.

I bought this audiobook based on the reviews as the sample wasn’t working. Deeply regret it and have had to repurchase another.

I suggest you try Laurie Klein’s version of Anne of Avonlea. Much more pleasing to the ear!
