I wished for traffic so I could keep listening!

It kept me guessing to the end, a “page turner” that kept my interest through suspense and disclosure throughout, Some plot flaws but not enough to spoil it for me, I loved this book!

How to be distracted by annoying characters

This book was disappointing. A cast of fairly inane characters whose only common thread is their stupidity and self-centredness to continually announce to themselves that they know the answer or have the perfect plan, only to be wrong. Again. Repeat with abject lack of self-awareness, humility or caution. *spoiler*:
the utter irrelevance of the little girl is lazy writing and maybe a cheap attempt at manipulating the reader (it didn’t work). The father constantly prattling about her being his all, and then promptly prioritising his own interests again and again. I kept hitting the 30sec skip button to get through those bits.

The ending….

Considerably drawn out 40 minute explanation ending to a story and characters that you just don’t care about by the end

Captivating mystery

“AnnaO” is one of those books that effortlessly pulls you into its world and keeps you guessing until the very end. The “whodunit” style adds an exciting layer of mystery, and unraveling how everything ties together is like solving a satisfying puzzle. Each character feels fully fleshed out, adding depth to the story, and the way the plot weaves together with subtle hints dropped throughout is masterfully done. The performance by the readers of the audiobook truly enhances the experience, contributing to the catchiness of the story. Their delivery adds an extra layer of immersion, making it even more difficult to press pause. Overall, it’s a captivating read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
