Loved it!
This is the first I have read/listened to writings by Rebecca Connelly and immediately bought book 2. Jessica’s reading of it made it for me, so many books are spoiled for me by the narrator. I listen to my books at night and found Jessica’s soft spoken voice made it very easy and enjoyable to listen to.

Historically Inaccurate
This story is a bit strange in my opinion. To my knowledge, a Lady in this time period wouldn't ride horseback for days on end across the country, she would travel by carriage. The heroine was "obscenely rich" yet didn't even purchase herself decent clothing. She could've bought/hired carriage, servants & a respectable companion to complete the journey, but instead chose to make the journey with a man she'd never met before, putting herself and him into compromising positions which, if ever revealed, would've led to terrible scandal for them both. If you enjoy a wild, far fetched story then you'll enjoy this one. I prefer something more believable.
