Original story line
An intriguing read with psychological challenges at every turn. Fast paced and cleverly executed. The duality of the story's structure allows the reader insight into both of the main characters personalities & motivations. A good read.

Not as good as their first book
I had high expectations for this as I loved the authors’ first book “The Wife Between Us”. I was left feeling ambivalent about this second offering. I didn’t love it and I didn’t quite hate it. The story is ridiculous- I can’t imagine the scenario occurring in the first place. Even after putting that aside one of the main characters speaks in a strange monotonous voice and constantly describes events in the third person - for example she will say “A pen is picked up from the desk” rather than “I picked a pen up from the desk” I found this extremely irritating as it is so contrived and unnatural. Ultimately disappointing.
