About this listen

America is broken. America is divided. 80% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. And everything you need to know about the divided states of America can be explained by two relentless forces: hyper-individualism and hyper-capitalism. This book explores how both hyper-individualism and hyper-capitalism are what is fundamentally ripping our country apart. Traditional solutions and status quo politicians can’t help us.

The first solution is to look to the Constitution and call for an Article V convention. A focused convention that will restrain the powers of the federal government and return more decisionmaking to the states. Then we need more “innovation and experimentation” at the state level to restrain the forces of hyper-individualism and hyper-capitalism. States could lead the way in innovation and experimentation by building a pro-family and pro-community culture, rethinking the economy to put family and community first, and protecting the most vulnerable through service.
