Publisher's Summary

Who needs a Class when you're already the strongest anyways?

Ten years ago, Amelia woke up alone and lost in a broken world where she had to fight for her survival.

Now, after reaching the pinnacle of power, defeating the Void itself, and escaping the abyss, she has finally found her way back into the real world.

But instead of returning to Earth, she arrives in the land of Vacuos. A fantasy world with magic, monsters, Classes, and Levels. A world that is governed by a System like it were a video game.

When rewarded with a Class befitting her accomplishments—to become a powerful [Hero] that will forever dedicate her life to protecting this world that is not her own—she only has one response: “Absolutely not. I’m going to live a normal life now, thank you very much.”

One punch man with Litrpg elements

As another review has stated, this novel takes much from One Punch Man and so follows a comedy slice of life with action elements formula.
The MC in this novel has a bit more depth than OPM with trying to live a normal life and struggling to integrate herself with her litrpg world, but suffers from the same lack of screentime as most op MCs go through, as if they were to appear, tension would be lost immediately. As such, side characters are what takes up a significant part of this novel, and they are serviceable; not quite only their stereotypes but not very deep.
As for the biggest problem of this novel, the cliché of "all hope is lost, I close my eyes waiting for my death, but nothing happens..." is not only prevalent but sometimes happens one after another, almost always followed up with the MC instantly ridding the scene of the big bad and serving as a way for the writer to dig themselves out of a hole only the op MC could.

Fun story

It’s a great story and I do love a good op character. I cannot wait to see where the series goes from here. I would like a bit more story told from the perspective of the main character. Narrator did an excellent job.

solid overall

a solid story overall, some parts i struggled to get through and i wish we had a bit more of Amelias perspective but i would say all the characters are pretty strong and interesting to listen to. overall it did leave me wanting to listen to the next book so i will be keeping an eye out for it!

Bland, one dimensional in every aspect.

Protagonist is overpowered but hasnt got an internal driver to make them relatable.
Ancillary characters are wide eyed simpletons.
Voice actor has one voice for male, two for female and one for monsters.

Avoid.

This Book is literally One Punch Man

I'm very disappointed by this series. I've read other book done by this author and have really enjoyed them, but this book is just One Punch Man with an LITRPG skin, if I can even call it a LITRPG. The concepts brought up throughout this book goes against everything that makes a LITRPG enjoyable.

One Punch Man Comparison:
MC one shots everything? Check.
MC gets an apprentice unwillingly? Check
MC meets a person who will dedicated their whole being to defeat them? Check

I don't know if there anymore similarities further on, gave up halfway.
