The end of the world was just the beginning.
Trouble is coming for Earth and for the people of Crownhill. The wolfmen were only the start. Trolls and ogres now roam these unfamiliar lands. And worst of all, other humans wait and plot against us. With no one else to lead them, the burden of protecting these people falls to me.

With her help, we just might be able to survive the apocalypse. But she's got problems of her own. Her clan is at war and cannot give me their support. They lack the magic equipment to defeat their rebellious foes. Perhaps a newly minted Artificer might be of use to them.
Nothing is certain, and conflict runs deeper than I ever realized in this world after the Apocalypse.

Great book
First half I was having a rough time but it’s great with development in skills and class and covers the first halved misgivings I had pretty well. Thanks for the book and can’t wait for the next one.

Very repetitive
The MC spends most of his time stroking his ego and justifying the reason why he does stupid things just for it to be repeated the next stupid idea he has. We get he has a death curse stop explaining it with every fight/conflict he gets, we understand he can't level normally after the story so far chapter which is at the start of the damn book. I find it weird that majority of the books fighting isn't actual combat but the MC inner monologue about himself and his feelings or thought processes during the fight. I just wish the author would read reviews before they get things done for audio. narration 5/5 can't fault it at all

Amazing. Exactly what I was looking for
Personally I loved the story. So many twists and turns. I would not have guessed!!! Need to go find if there is a book 3. I need it!!!

Fantastic 2nd instalment
Marvin is a wonderful story teller.
He has rich characters and fantastical worlds. His MC in this is believable thrown into this strange reality. He balances Battle, Babe's and bonking very deftly and keeps you wanting more.
This 2nd instalment makes me excited for the next!
With 2 fantastic narrator's doing a wonderful job bringing the characters to life I really enjoyed this audible book!!!
