Love the unique magic system

it was a good book keep me on the edge wanting to hear more

A true delight
Honor Rae has quickly become one of my favourite writers, he knows prose and how to add LitRGP without making it dumb. This story was amazing to hear.

fantastic!!
I listen to audiobooks as I fall asleep. I've been sleeping only a few hours a night since I started the first book and finished with this one because I was too invested in the story - I love everything about this book and performance.

One of the best!
This series is not just one of the best LitRPG’s I’ve read, but also one of the best fantasy/dragon rider books! It has the right balance of humour, snark, intrigue, mystery, frustration (politics), friendship and a tiny touch of romance, in an evolving (to the MC) world, and Dragons! Luke Daniels does an amazing job as narrator! Hoping for more from this series!

Utterly enchanting
This book grabbed me on page one and never let me go. An incredible second entry, somehow better than the first. I teared up, I got chills, I laughed, and I grinned like an idiot. Tenderly told by the narrator, this story has fundamentally flawed and interesting characters in a world I cannot wait to explore further.

It shouldn’t be good but somehow it’s awesome
The author is quite good at what he does. The story is oddly compelling and the characters are decent. The first part was a bit rough but the second half was excellent.
