A beautiful book...
This is the first book by Garry Michael I have read, I devoured these stunning chapters...
Love, to be passionate about, and so much more when I met Kai a Hawaiian architect I could feel his sadness his soul was distressed.
When Wyatt an ex-United States Marine entered my heart I felt his loneliness.
A beautifully written story of how two men who found each other find it hard to understand that they do need help, and that's it is okay to ask.
Wyatt has had a traumatic time in a war zone which replays over and over in his mind which is hurting his chance of finding someone to love to be a part of something larger than life, he knows what he would like but memories can come back and knock you flat!
Kai also has baggage that he needs to take care of which eventually he does but it took time.
Coming from a close family unit Kai thought he had let his family down.
All of the suffering both men endured is written delicately and professionally.
Their love matures and develops into a strong binding relationship.
As lovers, they made love passionately together they became one taking the reader on a delicious journey.
The audiobook is magnificent, the story comes alive and Michael Dean's narrator is perfect...
The epilogue is beautiful.

❤🎧📚 Fantastic narrative and book
5 stars for book and audio.💞
🎧 Narrated by Michael Dean
I love this narrator on books tell the characters story.
A bad start for Wyatt as he relives a time where things went bad in war.
He needed his support groups help this time but he's stubborn fella.
Wyatt aka Mr grump got along with his buissines partner well with the ribbing.
This is a great book to read and listen to with all the feelings of the characters.
Both MCs have baggage and there still dealing with. Included dual povs with sexy scenes, feels, PTSD scenes and more.
Wyatt was an ex-militiary still feeling the effects of 4 years ago when the team came came upon bombs in a war zone.
Kai was new to Friday Harbour and sees a captain that comes into the coffee shop. Kai has own baggage with an accident and guilt.
