The terror of it all

Anna Finder has again written a wonderful story about the frightening rise of Nazi power and the attempts of a few brave people to stop it

Wonderful

This is such a worthwhile book. So much better than many other popular, but undeserving, books about WW2 and the Nazi regime. It is beautifully written and read. Informative, engaging and moving. And I don’t know the author!

A story boldly told

The holocaust shared by each individual in this story of devotion and pain, reignited a story of my own.
I too, was subjected to a psychological foundation of dictatorship.
When alas, my courage finally gave out, I allowed 'them' to sweep me into the culvert.
I remain here ~ forgotten.
Courage came and went with these individuals, and I ached for them to be believed.
