Loved this Newcastle (Australia) based story
Great storytelling, interesting characters, great performances and intriguing twists and turns. Enjoyed this face paced read/ listen.

Engrossing!
What an enjoyable story, just wanted to keep listening. Brilliant story teller (please keep writing Kelli Hawkins!) and hats off to the v talented narrator Elizabeth Brennan who manages an array of different characters (male and female) and accents with supreme skill and believability. Why is it that overseas audio books need multiple narrators? Kelli Hawkins’ Aussie narrators manage it ALL themselves and carry it off seamlessly! Not a second of cringe was felt (uncommon!).
Highly recommended!

I couldn't stop listening
I was pulled in right from the start. Kept listening uninterrupted right to the end. The plot etc was brilliant and was able to keep me in that suspension of disbelief right to the end. I'll be searching for more from this author.

Disappointing
I was eager to listen to this book because of the other review.
Very uninteresting to listen to.
Maybe the last hour of the book was worth the wait. But almost wanted to stop listening halfway through.
