Stirring battles!
Great narrative around Alexander's battles and tactics. It is a story we'll told. Time for a definitive and GOOD movie on the great man.

Bigger than Jesus
Professor Harl's knowledge and humour make the 36 lectures pass quickly and enjoyably. Alexander created so much we take for granted, he should probably be studied more than Jesus to be honest.

Amazing
Fantastic detailed account of the great King. 20hrs seemed overwhelming when i first decided to start this lecture. Turned out every spare minute I could, I was putting this on to learn more

Alexander the Great is brought back to life!
Professor Kenneth Harl has the magical talent of teaching history by telling a magnificent story! He brings to life all the people who came before, during and after the world of Alexander the Great in a way that is believable, logical and filled with the foibles and frailties common to humanity. He demystifies the legend and yet undeniably demonstrates his deep respect for the young Macedonian king. He also laced his lectures with humour and candidly explained why some of his interpretations differed from other academic historians. From beginning to end, I was enthralled and entertained and, perhaps most importantly, educated on the man who became known as Alexander the Great.
