About this listen

A once fun-loving young girl is ordered to marry a man who is not only considerably older than she is but has children older than her as well. She has to make the best of her situation and still she has to abide by her own beliefs. At a young age, she is ordered to rule people who were strangers and had different customs and beliefs.

Imagine being a young queen to a handsome king. No worries or wants for anything. All of your slightest needs have been met and exceeded. Now imagine being the blame for the downfall of his kingdom. Jezebel was the young "wicked queen of the mighty king Ahab. Jezebel has been called wicked, promiscuous, a killer, and an adulteress, and the list goes on. What no one has ever called her is a victim to the most power-hungry men in the world. The young queen was thrown into an arrangement that did not have her interests at heart. She was made to take the blame for everything from weather conditions to the death of a family that had turned her husband down. The young queen lived a life that was envied by most women in her time. The luxury came at a price that was far too high for even her to pay.

Jezebel was used as a bargaining chip, scapegoat, and an accessory to be put on display by those she trusted the most She was seen as a villain all because she was beautiful, rich, young, had a backbone, and seen as different. Above all of this the most offensive thing. This young queen did wast to have the audacity to marry the second most powerful man in the region.
