About this listen

The rising wave of the undead has been stilled, the Lich Lord Daedalus defeated, and the dungeon is safe . . . for now.

Now comes a time of growth, of calm and restructuring as the dungeon upgrades and the new alliances settle . . . but not all is peace and love.

The gangs are rising, the asuras spread, and the dead never truly rest . . .

The Age of Steel has begun . . .

Get better as goes on

I am still surprised how good this series is considering never heard of it before stumbling into it. It has humour, good plots, adult themed aspects but overall good story at the heart. Main character Mat just wants to project his people and creatures and sacrifices himself constantly to do it.

Simply amazing

I've been waiting for months to finally feed my addiction and did not disappoint, amazing storyline that had me listening every minute I could, haven't felt like this about a book in over a decade

Uncertain

Firstly absolutely great story line love this book and the series .however some of the pointless bickering that’s repeated over and over got to me a bit as well as the introspective moral contemplations in the middle of a battle which are also repetitive were crap and also the stats (which a lot may like)could be condensed…..Great book I’m looking forward to the next and hopefully it will be better

Disappointing

I was very keen to listen to this book after enjoying the entire series. However it really wasn’t that enjoyable and I could have easily not finished it at all. A real shame.

Great story with some unnecessary filler

Great story well written and great progression. Definitely worth a read. But ……there are components that unnecessary and annoying. Childish bickering between MC & best mate are silly (it does not create the humour it is trying to achieve) and in the heat of battle/serious planning meetings etc are out of place and destroy the feeling/tension being created. If you can get past that, this series is worth the time

Continues the story

I love this series, and this one doesn't disappoint. More Matt, Kelly, Chris, and Beta growing their dungeon and some kicking ass with style.
