Publisher's Summary
After that night, nothing was ever the same again ...
The unmissable new thriller in the Will Trent series - now a major TV adaptation. Watch Will Trent on Disney+!
After that night, nothing was ever the same again ...
Fifteen years ago, Sara Linton's life changed forever when a celebratory night out ended in a violent attack that tore her world apart. Since then, Sara has remade her life. A successful doctor, engaged to a man she loves, she has finally managed to leave the past behind her.
Until one evening, on call in the ER, everything changes. Sara battles to save a broken young woman who's been brutally attacked. But as the investigation progresses, led by GBI Special Agent Will Trent, it becomes clear that Dani Cooper's assault is uncannily linked to Sara's.
And it seems the past isn't going to stay buried forever ...
Praise for After That Night:

'Karin Slaughter raises her game with every book. After That Night is compulsive reading.' Clare Mackintosh, author of I Let You Go

Praise for Karin Slaughter:
'Crime fiction at its finest' Michael Connelly

Excellent twist
A very harrowing, yet compelling story of full of brave woman and some supportive men. Hard to hear some of the detail around SA at times, however it was pivotal to the storyline. Well researched and would purchase other titles by this author.

Another Great Story
This book was so long. A good story but long but with excellent narration. Definitely worth a listen if you like Karen Slaughters books.

Another excellent book in the series. As always, the story kept me engaged and eager to hear what happened next.
Also a great performance from the narrator.

Great story and well narrated
A geat easy listen with enough twiata to keep you guessing. The narration was a step above others with different voices taking on parts to emphasise different characters. loved it.

Could not stop listening!
Amazing writing as usual. Totally absorbed in the story with diving back into the past. Can’t stop wondering if this was always part of the character sheet Slaughter had or if this was a new idea, incredible journey!

Is it ghoulish to enjoy Karin Slaughter books?
Whilst this story, as many of Karin Slaughter's books are, is quite graphic in parts, they are so well written and not gratuitous. Engrossing storyline and likeable main characters.
Good narration!
I only marked it down as the final reveal felt like it completely contradicted something revealed earlier in the book.

Too convoluted
The author was trying to wrap up Sarah’s long time back story but it was too convoluted. The twist at the end was shocking and I will give her that. It took me weeks to get through this book.
