I must already be an accountant..
If this book is for non accountants, I must be a seasoned veteran accountant cause a good chunk of this is absolutely beyond me 😂 I'm too dumb for this book. but seriously, I think the main problem with this book is it's not designed to be an audio book. it constantly references the accompanied PDF. I personally use audio books because:
* I'm mildly dyslexic
* I like to consume this kind of info while I'm at work, exercising, driving, etc
* I don't have the time to sit down with a book
relying so heavily on essentially a second e-book, really takes from the advantage of using an audiobook. the e-book is referenced so frequently that without it, it's incredibly hard to follow what he's talking about, especially once he starts using acronyms and referencing diagrams and figures. this would probably make a great regular book, but it fails as an audiobook. at least for me. I also acknowledge that perhaps accounting is really hard to put in an audiobook. perhaps it's not compatible with that type of information format. who knows. perhaps if someone wanted to sit down and use it as a substitute or suplimentary informationfor school, it would make a lot of sense, but this book was a real struggle for me to both get through and understand because of how and where I listen to audiobooks.
