Not as Advertised

I barely found anything of use in this audiobook. The entire thing is a conversation between two people talking about how they try to achieve RP, but there are barely any examples. What makes it worse is that one of the people talking is Irish, so you're actually listening to an Irish accent for a lot of the audiobook and many of the attempts at RP are performed by the Irish speaker. In my personal opinion, the Irish speaker isn't actually that good at performing RP, so I ended up listening to an Irish version of RP. Not very helpful at all. Someone who actually speaks RP should have been included in the interview.
While it's interesting to hear what the Irish speaker is doing in order to attempt the accent, it ultimately isn't that helpful and was only a distraction. And when all you want to do is learn the RP accent, the last thing you want to hear is 3 different accents in one audiobook (the host, the Irish speaker and the accent).
