compelling well written and inspiring
Loved this book and performance. language perfectly balanced between advanced and formulative without being dry or not relevant. All characters are fully supported and fleshed out and the experience enjoyed thoroughly by all who participated.....all ages and any add-ons found and encouraged to stay. well done!!

better than the first, enjoyable.
I didn't super love the first book as it didn't really end its own narrative. This book however does. it's certainly not complex or revolutionary but if you have a child that's read deltora quest and Harry Potter, this series will keep them entertained for a time and satisfied at the end while still wanting more. It's slightly odd that this book features young adult characters in an academic/university setting when it doesn't really play to that audience.
the narrator does fine varied male voices, but the female voices are a bit cringey.
