About this listen
This audiobook is masterfully read by Hugh Bonneville and includes a bonus feature with the author, Peter James, who reveals the inspiration behind the story and characters.
'Sensational – the best what-if thriller since The Da Vinci Code' – Lee Child, author of Killing Floor
From the number one bestselling author, Peter James, comes an explosive standalone thriller for fans of Dan Brown that will grip you and won't let go until the very end.
Investigative reporter Ross Hunter nearly didn’t answer the phone call that would change his life – and possibly the world – for ever.
‘I’d just like to assure you I’m not a nutcase, Mr Hunter. My name is Dr Harry F. Cook. I know this is going to sound strange, but I’ve recently been given absolute proof of God’s existence – and I’ve been advised there is a writer, a respected journalist called Ross Hunter, who could help me to get taken seriously.’
What would it take to prove the existence of God? And what would be the consequences? This question and its answer lie at the heart of Absolute Proof.
The false faith of a billionaire evangelist, the life’s work of a famous atheist, and the credibility of each of the world’s major religions are all under threat. If Ross Hunter can survive long enough to present the evidence . . .

Brilliant, thrilling, thank you!
I absolutely love Peter Jame’s range of work and this one was a complete delight between Roy Grace novels. I love being taken on a ride that is a level beyond normal life to be lost in possibilities and mystery. The characters were fabulous and the global locations heightened the experience, it all came together as a complete adventure mind movie in audio. Very satisfying and I’m sad it’s finished. Hugh was the perfect narrator and I could listen to a whole series of books presented this way. It was quirky, fun, thoughtful and thrilling. More please!

Not for me
Don’t buy this if your expecting the usual Peter James and if your not Dan Brown type books I am not. I love Peter James but not this one gave up it half way through.

Hours gone I can’t get back
Long, drawn out, rambling, oh and his ‘integral’ door annoyed the hell out of me. Should have returned it instead of wasting a credit
